Outspoken liberal and acclaimed director Rob Reiner (“Misery,” “A Few Good Men,” “Stand by Me”) is hoping the incoming Congress will rid the country of President Donald Trump, a man the filmmaker refers to as a “lying malignant narcissistic cancer.”

“Where to begin. The corruption & criminality is overwhelming,” Reiner tweeted on Wednesday.

“But starting tomorrow finally there will be accountability.”

“And when the dust settles, we will be rid of this lying malignant narcissistic cancer. Happy New Year,” he added.

Reiner is one of the president’s most vocal Hollywood critics.

His Twitter account almost exclusively deals with politics and Trump.

Reiner’s New Year’s resolution was (surprise!) to get Donald Trump out of the White House.

“Reminder. He called a reporter pretending to be someone else to brag about his sexual prowess. He defrauded people of their life savings with a fake university. The president of the United States is a sick criminal. New Year’s resolution: Get him the f*** out of the White House,” the actor and director tweeted on New Year’s eve, clearly holding nothing back.

Starting on Thursday, Democrats will hold the majority in the House thanks to victories in the midterm elections this past November.

In the past, Reiner has called Trump supporters racist and accused the president of being “mentally unstable” and a “criminal.”

Reiner, 71, is known for both his acting and directing.

As an actor, he most famously appeared on “All in the Family” as outspoken liberal character Michael “Meathead” Stivic.

The show ran from 1971 to 1979.

From there, Reiner went on to become one of Hollywood’s top directors for a time. He directed such hit movies as, “This Is Spinal Tap,” “Stand by Me,” “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally,” “Misery,” and “A Few Good Men.”

Despite that stellar filmography, Reiner’s recent film efforts have failed to connect with audiences in any significant way.

His latest film, “Shock and Awe,” passed by in theaters with a whimper this year. And other recent efforts such as “LBJ” and “Being Charlie” have also flopped.

Reiner’s last hit film as a director was “The Bucket List,” a 2007 comedy starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. The film represents one of the last on-screen appearances of Nicholson, who is now retired from acting.

Reiner was nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award for helping to produce 1992’s “A Few Good Men,” which also starred Nicholson.
