Gender Redefined by Style Guide
The widely used Associated Press stylebook has updated its LGBT entry to include politically correct terminology for any references to “transgender" and "gender-fluid" people. “Gender" is now defined as a social identity — whereas “sex” refers to a person’s biological characteristics.
