Political commentator Sarah Palin condemned sexual harassment Thursday while being interviewed by an MSNBC reporter, but what the reporter probably didn’t expect was Palin’s response to her question about whether she had ever been harassed in the workplace.

“I think a whole lot of people know I’m probably packing so I don’t think there’s a whole lot of people who would necessarily mess with me,” said Palin. “I don’t mean to be lighthearted, this is a serious issue. It really stinks for women in the workplace that for too long, men have thought they can get away with that old-school thinking that it’s okay to belittle and harass women.”

Palin gave this statement on the same day Sen. Al Franken was accused of sexual harassment by radio host Leeann Tweeden in an incident dating back to 2006. Watch the full clip above.
