Rachel Maddow is back at it again.
The liberal MSNBC commentator is now claiming that President Trump’s rhetoric against professional athletes who are protesting the national anthem is a “planned-out thing” to cause racial divide.
“He decided he was going to make a racially divisive issue out of something going on in sports, they planned on it, they built a whole campaign around it, and then he launched it,” said Maddow. “This is a planned-out thing. Other people were involved in deciding to do this. That creeps me out about it.”
Maddow cited Trump’s support on the issue from Super PACs and the Republican National Committee as proof all Republicans wanted to cause racial divide — rather than the simple, rational explanation that the President of the United States does not want to see his country’s flag disrespected and decided to speak out on it.
