During an appearance on “Meet the Press” this Sunday, host Chuck Todd questioned Democratic Senator Susan Collins about a hot mic moment in which she was allegedly caught slamming President Trump with fellow Sen. Jack Reed.
Todd played the hot mic moment back to Collins, where she can clearly be heard saying she’s “worried” about the president — and at one point Reed says he thinks Trump is “crazy.”
Rather than admit they were talking about the president, however, Collins twisted the situation and denied what many believe was going on. Watch the clip above to see what she claims they were really talking about.
