On Thursday’s episode of “The View,” liberal co-host Whoopi Goldberg did something extremely out of character: stood up for a Trump.
After prominent fashion editors refused to sit next to Donald Trump’s daughter Tiffany at a Philipp Plein fashion show in New York, Goldberg said she would sit next to the young girl at future shows.
“You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows… I’m coming to sit with you. Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion! She doesn’t want to talk about her dad! She’s looking at the fashion,” said Goldberg.
Joy Behar, never one to miss an opportunity to diss the Trump family, chimed in with thinly veiled digs, but most of the hosts agreed: Tiffany Trump should not have been bullied at the show. Watch the clip above.
