The mother of woman who was killed by an illegal immigrant appeared on Fox News to discuss Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy’s order to state authorities not to follow federal law regarding illegal immigrants.
Wendy Hartling, who is from Connecticut, says she is “outraged” and that the governor’s directive “hurts.”
Hartling has met with leadership in Connecticut who said they will do “everything in their power” to ensure the type of crime that happened to her daughter will never happen again. Now, she’s reacting to how she feels after this directive. Watch the heartbreaking clip above.
