Donald Trump on Tuesday said that, “If I become president, we’re all going to be saying, ‘Merry Christmas’ again. That I can tell you.”

The Republican candidate got on the subject when he said Americans should boycott Starbucks over its decision to change its annual holiday cups.

“Did you read about Starbucks? No more Merry Christmas on Starbucks,” Trump said at a rally in Springfield, Illinois.

“Maybe we should boycott Starbucks. I don’t know,” he said.

The coffee conglomerate has formerly featured Christmas ornaments and trees on its cups, but this year is going to a minimalist red cup with only the Starbucks logo.
