A new Quinnipiac University National poll released Wednesday shows Donald Trump just a bit behind Hillary Clinton — with 40 percent to Clinton’s 42 percent. It’s a margin too close to call, the university says.

However, on specific, and very important issues in the country, Trump beats Clinton by more than a margin.

When it comes to jobs, 52 percent believe Trump would be better at creating them, over Clinton’s 40 percent. On fighting ISIS, 52 percent believe Trump would be more effective at handling the terror group, over Clinton’s 39 percent, according to Quinnipiac University’s poll.

He also beats her with voters over 65, white voters, and trustworthiness. To Clinton’s 37 percent, 45 percent believe that Trump is more honest and trustworthy and 49 percent to Clinton’s 43 percent believe he is a stronger leader.
