If there’s one celebrity the leftist media needs to stop taking seriously, it’s Tom Arnold.

The actor and comedian already proved his misogyny by attacking conservative pundit Candace Owens in a vulgar rant.

He also recently threatened to show up at Barron Trump’s school. Barron Trump — the president’s youngest child — is 12 years old. Arnold is 59 years old.

Though he’s proved his low level of rhetoric time and time again, the Hollywood liberal continues to be taken seriously by the mainstream media. He has an upcoming anti-Trump show on Vice and he’s appeared on both CNN and MSNBC.

The less said about the CNN appearance, the better. Arnold awkwardly went silent for about 40 seconds and seemed to forget why he was even on television.

In a recent MSNBC interview on “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” Tom Arnold attacked Trump supporters, including his own ex-wife, Roseanne Barr.

“There is a lot of anxiety in general in the public … And the president just keeps pushing that button. Instead of saying, ‘OK, America, calm down,’ he keeps hitting that button like, ‘It’s scary out there. It’s bad,'” said Arnold.

He continued, “It is like if you are a kingpin and that’s the drug, it is that internet, the fear, fear, fear. And he’s pushing that thing. That’s what he does. So he’s their kingpin for mental illness. If you got a little bit and you’re in your house, he is the guy that keeps pushing it and he knows it. And he keeps doing that instead of making things better because he thinks, ‘That’s my base. That’s my base.'”

Arnold went on to say that his Roseanne Barr is part of mentally ill “base” and is “addicted” to the fearmongering the president pushes.

Let’s break this down real quick.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

Roseanne Barr created one of the highest rated and most even-handed TV sitcoms of the year. She lost that show because of a controversial tweet that was deemed racist — a tweet for which she immediately apologized.

To make amends, she signed away the rights to her own show for free.

Arnold, meanwhile, is going on near-incomprehensible rants on television and attacking women who think differently than he does. He’s also threatening to show up at the schools of the children of people who disagree with him.

He may want to be careful about calling Barr and millions of other Americans mentally ill. You know what they say about people in glass houses …
