Anticipation was high and the pressure was intense for Sunday’s second sparring match between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Twitter was in overdrive, with plenty of outrage over claims from both candidates and plenty of wisecracks on a variety of topics — starting right off the bat when the two frostily didn’t shake hands.

Roseanne Barr and Abraham Lincoln were big stars on Twitter.

As Trump and Hillary met on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis, taking their places on the stage, they didn’t approach each other and #nohandshake quickly began trending.

Once underway, the contentious debate drew nonstop reaction for the next 90 minutes.

One of the biggest anti-Hillary stars, James Woods, however, tweeted at one point that he was not watching the debate, saying, “The fact that she can get away with such criminal behavior without repercussions makes me ill.”

But Roseanne Barr was maybe Trump’s biggest cheerleader on Sunday night, praising the Republican presidential candidate for repeatedly for going after Hillary.

Another trending topic of the night was Abraham Lincoln, who was cited by Hillary, prompting Trump to jump on it, saying there are “big, big differences … between Abraham Lincoln and you.”
