Rosie O’Donnell Spreads Fake News About Trump
Video showing a child calling the president 'a disgrace' fools thousands, including comedian
Rosie O’Donnell’s dislike for President Donald Trump has long been clear. She’s gone out of her way to suggest martial law to remove him from office — and she even publicly accused his youngest son, Barron Trump, of having autism. She used her accusation to call Donald Trump a liar.
O’Donnell’s fiery rage toward Trump apparently runs so deep that she’ll fall for anything. Using her verified Twitter account recently, she fell for — and helped spread — fake news about the president.
A video that O'Donnell responded to showed a young girl call Trump "a disgrace" at a rally — but the video was not of Trump at all. It was a clip of a Trump impersonator from a Comedy Central show called "The President Show." The clip nevertheless managed to fool hundreds of thousands of people on Twitter, thanks in part to, and including, O'Donnell as well as a video producer for Buzzfeed News named "Brandon LB."
Are there even any standards at this point for attacks celebrities lob at the president? Apparently not.
And here's Rosie's tweet praising and spreading the fake video:
