As predictably as ever, many elite celebrities threw their support behind Saturday’s March for Our Lives protests across the country.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Cher, and plenty of others flew into Washington, D.C., raring to join in on the rallies for gun control.

“So ready to March today! Landed in DC w North & Kanye. We stand in solidarity with the survivors of gun violence & students who are calling for action on common sense gun safety laws at #MarchForOurLives around the country,” tweeted reality star Kardashian after arriving in D.C.

“Jumanji” star Dwayne Johnson tweeted out support for the protests.

“I’ll always stand for open dialogue and action — it’s the only way to ensure bad history doesn’t repeat itself. When it comes to protecting our children, all bets are off and the responsibility lies with us adults and lawmakers to listen and do. Very strong day. #MarchForOurLives,” he wrote on Twitter.

Sir Paul McCartney recalled his late bandmate John Lennon when talking to CNN at the New York City protests on Saturday.

“As you know, one of my best friends was shot not far from here,” said one of the most iconic musicians of our time. “It is important to me.”

“Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon also marched in New York — the state in which she recently announced she would be running for governor.

The protests across the country were peppered with musical performances, including one from rapper Common, who predictably took shots at President Donald Trump.

“A president that trolls for hate. You don’t control our fate because God is great. When they go low we stay in the haste. I stand for peace, love, and women’s rights,” he rapped in D.C.

Not every celebrity railed against the Second Amendment on Saturday.

Conservative singer Kaya Jones posted a picture of herself with a rifle and said, “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people and just happen to use a gun.”

Actor Adam Baldwin also tweeted some critical words about the way the gushing mainstream media have treated outspoken Parkland survivors such as young David Hogg.
