Conservative musician Joy Villa has a history of making a splash on red carpets by her fashion choices.

Last year, she announced her support of the president through a “Make America Great Again” dress, which made headlines and led to huge bumps in sales for her music.

Despite any criticism from leftist Hollywood that she may receive, Villa has not been silenced. On the red carpet of the 2018 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, she wore a dress with a hand-painted image of a baby in the uterus — along with a clutch that read “Choose life.”

Villa has made her pro-life stance clear in the past and opened up to LifeZette previously about her struggle with an early and unexpected pregnancy — and how she dealt with it.

Though Hollywood likes to pretend it supports diverse voices and opinions, having right-of-center political beliefs can spell death for a singer’s career. It will certainly be interesting to see how Hollywood responds to Villa’s latest bold statement.

Not many liberal A-list stars would agree with her pro-life stance (or likely her right to express such an opinion). But Villa has found success with more right-wing audiences, along with music lovers who appreciate talent over politics; so no matter the reaction to her new dress, her career will be just fine.
