The 68th Annual Emmy Awards, broadcast live on ABC from Los Angeles this Sunday at 7 p.m., might be particularly political this year, with the presidential election just a few weeks away.

It’s safe to say the production, which will be emceed by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, will deliver a series of memorable comments from those who win the big awards.

Hillary Clinton will win the night.

Kimmel’s late show has grown in popularity over the years, but memories have likely faded about how poorly he was received when he hosted in 2012. In an Entertainment Weekly online blog, 80 percent of those who weighed in gave him a grade of either a C, D, or F.

This year’s Emmys will feature some series making their final farewell.

Fans of “Downton Abbey” and “The Good Wife” are hoping for a victorious sendoff for those shows. British drama “Abbey” scored 10 Emmy nominations in its final season.

In previous years, “The Good Wife” was a tough competitor — but, now in its final year, it’s received several high-profile snubs. One of its best chances for an Emmy this year will likely go to Michael J. Fox for his guest role as a ruthless attorney.

Here are some moments to watch for on Emmy night:

1.) Hillary Clinton will win the night.
Clinton recently went on Kimmel’s show and sat for a softball interview during which he joked about her husband’s love of balloons at the Democratic National Convention, laughed off her email situation and made jokes about how Trump fuels terrorism.  Most recently, Kimmel also likened Trump to a T-shirt that your wife hates and asks you, “What the hell are you wearing?”  Kimmel’s anti-Trump comedy routine will likely continue throughout the evening of the Emmys.

To add to the Hillary lovefest, comedian Larry David will be a presenter at the award show and is a nominee for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his impersonation of Sen. Bernie Sanders on “Saturday Night Live.” Now that Sanders is out stumping for Clinton, the night will likely be filled with David’s mockery of Trump.

Another Emmy presenter will be actor-comedian Aziz Ansari. You may remember when he wrote a piece in The New York Times this summer bashing Trump, then tweeting out the article with a comment: “I wrote a piece for @NYTimes telling him to go f*** himself.”

Kristen Bell of “Frozen” fame will be presenting at the Emmys, fresh off her appearance at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia where she sang “What the World Needs Now is Love” with other celebrities.

2.) The Emmy battle for “Best Limited Series” is a tough one.
The FX miniseries “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” will likely win, thanks not only to its all-star cast and phenomenal storyline but also its look at race and gender politics at a pivotal time in American history.

The show “Fargo” did well in its second season, but between “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and popular series “The Night Manager,” starring Taylor Swift’s recent ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston, there is stiff competition in this category.

Sarah Paulson, who played lead prosecutor Marcia Clark in the Simpson miniseries, is bringing a famous date to the ceremony — the real-life Marcia Clark.

3.) Gender identity politics and sexuality are likely to drive the conversation as well, with the show “Transparent” up for awards.
Plus, RuPaul, drag queen, model, and television personality, has been nominated by the Best Reality Series Host for “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

4.) And yes, “Game of Thrones,” HBO, and Netflix likely will get almost all of the awards.
It’s almost safe to say that each year now.

5.) The next-day coverage will be reliably pro-Hillary as well.
The “toughest critiques” of Trump will play on a loop on networks all day long. Anything different would be the shock of the season.
