Broadway stars banded together Monday night in New York City to raise money for Hillary — and to sing songs mocking Donald Trump.

Is any of this surprising?

Billy Crystal did an opening monologue saying Trump was like a 7/11: “Open 24 hours and he is trying to sell us crap we don’t want.”

“Tim Kaine in the membrane.”

Crystal also sang a rewrite of Stephen Sondheim’s “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” opener, with lines like “Nothing with Trump, nothing with Pence/They’d make Joe Stalin feel intense.”

He also made a crack about Trump demanding to see his “bris certificate.”

Bill Clinton and his daughter, Chelsea Clinton, headlined the fundraiser — which didn’t include an appearance by Hillary. Instead, she sent a taped video for the audience of about 1,700 people and joked she auditioned for the star-studded show — which was produced by Harvey Weinstein and Jordan Roth — but that the producers said she “didn’t make the cut.”

“Hamilton” star Lin-Manuel Miranda teamed up with his former co-star, actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, for a version of “Ten Duel Commandments,” naming the 10 things Americans need to do during the three weeks remaining before Election Day. Some items: “Call up some undecideds with your crew, your cousins in Ohio, maybe try to flip them blue” and “Watch Hillary examine the terrain, watch her campaign with her man Tim Kaine, Tim Kaine in the membrane (Time Kaine in the brain).”

Bill Clinton reflected on feelings Trump supporters were having, comparing them with groups of people who have felt left out in the past, as CNN and others reported.

“They now feel like outsiders in a country [that] once felt like home,” Clinton said, noting those feelings were once shared with “gays, immigrants, African-Americans, women, [and] people with disabilities.”

He added, “We don’t want to leave everyone behind. We just want to tear down the social totem pole so we can rise together.”

Hugh Jackman sang “Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’,” from “Oklahoma!” while Sarah Jessica Parker and Andrea McArdle sang “Tomorrow” from “Annie.”

Jake Gyllenhaal, Cynthia Erivo, Matthew Broderick, Emily Blunt, Neil Patrick Harris, Sienna Miller, Sara Bareilles, Anne Hathaway, and Helen Mirren also performed for the Stronger Together fundraiser.

Based on attendance figures and ticket prices provided by the campaign — the fundraiser reportedly raised more than $2.3 million for the Clinton campaign.
