As if women didn’t have enough reason to fret over their post-baby body image, along comes Bugaboo strollers and its new Facebook post featuring a model (and mom!) pushing her tiny tot — who may weigh more than she does — while jogging in perfect form behind the Bugaboo running stroller.

Clad in a tiny bikini bottom, sneakers and a bandeau cropped top, the model glides behind the stroller oozing serenity and grace.

Moms are weighing in fast. One Facebook comment reads in part: “If I was running in this on the school run, it would be because I’d forgotten to put my clothes on because we’re late for school, my 5-year-old had fallen off his scooter, my 2-year-old refuses to put his shoes on and there’s a good chance I haven’t had the time to do my bikini line.”

Bugaboo strollers retail between $649 and $1,765. The featured “Runner” stroller retails for more than $800.

So this mom is toned and rich!

Some give this fit mom props for her incredible physique, something plenty of moms aspire to one day (sigh). Another commenter writes, “Really, ladies? Are you that judgmental or jealous that you have to question what she is running in? Women should support each other, not tear each other down because you feel inadequate. I would never get away with wearing that while I run, but great for her!”

Body perfection is a sore spot for most new moms, as they seek to fit exercise in between caring for little ones, running a household, working, and the overall general exhaustion of parenting. So does this ad work?

Another commenter writes, “That’s actually my body, just with her head on it. The message here is: staying fit is suuuuuuuuuper easy and if you do not have a Bugaboo then you’re stupid.”

The Bugaboo company is doing something right with their provocative post — the Facebook post is getting media coverage and has 1,399 likes and 224 shares as of Monday afternoon.

Says Bugaboo in a statement on the post: “We want to inspire moms and dads everywhere to explore the world with their families, while keeping up with an active and healthy lifestyle.”
