President Donald Trump is in the state of Missouri on Thursday night to rally his base for that state’s Attorney General Josh Hawley.

The Republican Senate hopeful is seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill.

Appearing on “The Laura Ingraham Show” recently, Hawley painted McCaskill as out of touch with everyday Missourians.

“Here’s the bottom line in this campaign … Sen. McCaskill has been in politics 36 years,” he said.

“That’s about as long as I’ve been alive. She’s been in Washington for 12 long years.”

He added, “And she’s become a party-line liberal.”

Hawley pointed to McCaskill’s record on immigration and her vote against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

With just days before the all-important November 6 midterm elections, McCaskill is one of the cycle’s most vulnerable Democratic incumbents in the country.
