President Donald Trump reinvented an old campaign slogan to taunt Democrats on Tuesday by telling people to vote for the Donkey Party if they’re tired of America and Americans winning again.

Trump humorously said numerous times throughout his 2016 campaign, and since entering his presidency, that he would be so successful that people would grow tired of winning so much.

The line became one of his commonly used catchphrases alongside “drain the swamp.”

He played some more on the theme Tuesday by tweeting in all capital letters:

Trump posted the tweet amid a fierce midterm election campaign that could potentially flip both congressional chambers from Republican to Democrat control.

Republicans have highlighted the economic improvements that have occurred since they gained control of the legislature and presidency in their effort to hold seats.

Democrats have mounted a fierce challenge in seeking to retake the majorities they lost in the Senate in the 2014 election and the House of Representatives in the 2010 election. They have gone out of their way to paint the president as incompetent, boorish and corrupt, while arguing that his tax cuts, deregulation, and renegotiation of international trade deals have helped only wealthy people.

In fact, unemployment levels are at record lows, millions of new jobs have been created as the economic growth rate hit 4.2 percent for the second quarter of 2018, and expanding businesses are finding it increasingly difficult to find and hire needed employees.

The stock market has been seeing record gains with a steep rise that started right before Trump entered office.

There has also been a record high in job openings, with 6.7 million unfilled positions in June.

That month saw more job openings than people unemployed for the first time since 2000.

Trump’s predecessor in the Oval Office, former President Barack Obama, has claimed he deserves credit for the improving economy since some of those trends started toward the end of his presidency.

Trump is taking an especially active role on behalf of Republican candidates for the Senate and the House of Representatives during the 2018 midterm campaign. He is holding four Make America Great Again (MAGA) rallies just this week, with the first convening Monday in Tennessee; the second Tuesday in Mississippi; then Thursday in Rochester, Minnesota; and Saturday in Topeka, Kansas.
