One parent of a Parkland victim whose daughter was tragically killed in the February 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre in Parkland, Florida, is speaking out in disgust about Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s use of the tragedy to score political points.

In a series of Twitter posts earlier this week, Andrew Pollack (shown above left), the father of 18-year-old victim Meadow Pollack, called out the California Democrat for using the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings as a platform for her “radical” anti-gun agenda, as the Conservative Tribune reported.

Feinstein repeatedly used Kavanaugh’s SCOTUS hearing this week to grandstand about her views on the Second Amendment — and Pollack was clearly riled by the senator’s behavior.

“Senator Feinstein, Please stop weaponizing the death of my daughter to push your radical agenda,” Pollack wrote in one tweet.

In another tweet, Pollack slammed the media as a whole for politicizing the deaths of his daughter and others for the sake of a liberal, anti-gun agenda.

“Certain politicians like @SenFeinstein and the media never miss out on a chance to use the deaths of the innocent victims of the Parkland school shooting,” he wrote in part.

Another dad with starkly differing views, Fred Guttenberg, was reportedly invited to the Kavanaugh hearing by Feinstein herself.

Guttenberg also tragically lost a child, his 14-year-old daughter Jaime, in the Parkland shootings. He told CNN on Tuesday that Kavanaugh had deliberately snubbed him at a break in the hearing; he said he tried to shake the nominee’s hand, but Kavanaugh responded by turning his back on him.

He even said the nominee winked at him, according to the Huffington Post.

Kavanaugh has built a reputation in Washington as a remarkably civil, kind person, so a deliberate snub of a grieving father seems unlikely.

In a Twitter post, deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah, meanwhile, stated that security staff in the hearing room came between the two men — breaking off their contact.

Pollack’s Twitter post about Kavanaugh and the Parkland shooting itself, which cites Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie, and the FBI’s handling of numerous warnings about the gunman, clearly shows what he believes is the cause of the death toll at the Florida high school.

“Judge Kavanaugh was not responsible for the Parkland school shooting that killed my daughter. @RobertwRuncie, FBI, and Sheriff Israel are,” he tweeted. “Judge Kavanaugh is a decent man and should be confirmed. Stop weaponizing Parkland to advance a dangerous political agenda! … Stop using our heartbreak to raise money and push a dangerous agenda! It’s disgusting and pathetic,” Pollack continued.

“No wonder the country hates you people.”
