Leftist TV scientist Bill Nye suggested on the final episode of his Netflix show “Bill Nye Saves the World” that perhaps the United States government should punish parents who have too many children because of the impact the average American has on the environment.
“The average Nigerian emits 0.1 metric tons of carbon annually,” said Dr. Travis Rieder, one of Nye’s panelists on the show. “How many does the average American emit? Sixteen metric tons.”
This statement leads Nye to suggest that developed governments could put sanctions on parents who birth too many children — watch the clip above.
