Turns out “when pigs fly” is no longer something to be used to express an impossibility — since pigs today are, well, flying. So are a ton of other animals you would never expect.

That’s right: Service animals these days are no longer restricted to dogs. And their purpose isn’t just to work or perform tasks for those with disabilities — they’re now being used to help people handle their emotions and to decrease stress.
