President-Elect Donald Trump announced Friday the addition of several political loyalists and family to his transition team as he prepares to take the national reigns from President Obama on Jan. 20.

Vice President-Elect Mike Pence will take the helm of the transition from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

“The mission of our team will be clear: Put together the most highly qualified group of successful leaders who will be able to implement our change agenda in Washington.”

“Together this outstanding group of advisers, led by Vice President-Elect Mike Pence, will build on the initial work done under the leadership of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to help prepare a transformative government ready to lead from day one,” Trump said in a statement Friday.

“The mission of our team will be clear: put together the most highly qualified group of successful leaders who will be able to implement our change agenda in Washington,” the statement continued. “Together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding this nation — specifically jobs, security and opportunity. This team is going to get to work immediately to Make America Great Again.”

Christie, who initially led the transition team efforts, joined the team’s Executive Committee as a vice chair alongside other longtime Trump loyalists. Other vice chairs include former primary rival Dr. Ben Carson, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions from Alabama.

Trump Campaign CEO Stephen Bannon, PayPal Co-Founder Peter Thiel, SkyBridge Capital Founder Anthony Scaramucci, New York hedge fund manager Robert Mercer’s daughter, Rebekah Mercer, and Wall Street banker Steven Mnuchin will add their business acumen to Trump’s transition team.
