What we are seeing on Tuesday in Washington is an interesting thing. Biden’s own Department of Justice has told him no. That’s right, the president of the United States has been overruled by the Administrative State.
As we can read below, Biden, upon hearing of the brave decision by Judge Mizelle to drop mask mandates on public transportation, folded on the point and said people should make their own decisions when it comes to masking.
But after that unscripted statement the chief executive was likely sat down by Lady MacBeth…ur…um…his wife Jill and told in soft and soothing tones that he was wrong and that the nice man over at the Department of Justice would make it all better. Edith Wilson, call your office.
If the Biden administration objects to the judge’s ruling on appeal & tries to bring back the federal mask mandate, they will have a political shellacking this November on a scale that will make Obama’s 2010 losses look like child’s play.

FNC: “When President Joe Biden was asked Tuesday if people should continue to wear masks on airplanes, he quickly responded saying, ‘that’s up to them.’ ”
And then, hours later…
FNC: “The U.S. Department of Justice says it will appeal a ruling that eliminated COVID-19 mask mandates for public transportation if the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) deems it necessary.”
“The Department of Justice and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) disagree with the district court’s decision and will appeal, subject to CDC’s conclusion that the order remains necessary for public health,” the DOJ said in a statement. “The Department continues to believe that the order requiring masking in the transportation corridor is a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health. That is an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”
Justice Department spokesman Anthony Coley said officials feel that the federal mask order was “a valid exercise of the authority Congress has given CDC to protect the public health.” He said it was “an important authority the Department will continue to work to preserve.”
Understand the import of the tone DOJ took. It brooked no opposition from any quarter including the president of the United States. Individual fiefdoms apparently rule this nation, with a presidential spouse acting as Nurse-in-Chief to a president who is neither in charge nor in control.

I was on my regional transit subway system today with no mask. No one said a thing as usual. The one time I was hassled by mask police was the first time I went where I went today (this was earlier last month). I used to go around telling people the pandemic is over. Now I feel like I’m wasting my breath. When are people going to take back their own lives instead of waiting for daddy government to give them back to them?
Well now – this should be very interesting to watch as it all unfolds!
To seek repeal or not, that is the question!!??
No more mask mandates DONT WONT play these games
Amen!
DOJ did not overrule the President!
A judge did!
Since when does the DOJ run this country? if the president can rule by executive order, as Biden usually does, then how is this power abuse legal?
