According to reports, a teacher working at the Alden-Conger Public School District is sharing a bit too much with her students, that are reportedly aged between 14 and 16-years-old. The teacher, who was not named in the report, has allegedly been detailing to her students about her threesomes and her identifying as a “furry” – among other things shared that were equally disturbing.

For those unaware, someone who identifies as a “furry” is a person who gains a sort of gratification – sometimes sexual – from dressing up as an anthropomorphic animal. The culture revolving around this bizarre fetish has been gaining a cult-like following over the past 20 years, with some referring to their costumes as “fursonas.”

Outside of this teacher claiming to be a furry to her students, she has also allegedly shared details about her having threesomes with her husband and a lesbian companion. Julie Quist, board chair of the Child Protection League, had become aware of these allegations by Minnesota state Rep. Peggy Bennett.

Quist said that Rep. Bennett had learned of the ordeal initially after concerned parents within the district brought it to her attention, adding that these parents had passed along examples of two poems assigned by this same teacher to her students.

One of the poems provided was titled “Lure,” which reportedly shares the first-hand account of a three-year-old girl who was molested by her 79-year-old grandfather. The second poem shared with Quist was called “Lisp,” a poem by Sam Sax that details a young boy’s reconciliation with his homosexuality.

Excerpts from the “Lisp” poem had such portions that read “my voice a spoonful of sugared semen” and “now when I say please/let me suck your cock.”

In a letter sent to Alden-Conger School District Superintendent Brian Shanks, Quist described the actions of this teacher as being “an extreme case of ongoing sexual harassment” that is “not being addressed” by the district – despite them having been reported by parents to Shanks.

“The actions of this teacher are deeply disturbing. They violate and disrespect her students, creating an intimidating, hostile, and offensive educational environment. They are an assault on the personal integrity of each minor student and on the spiritual and cultural mores of their families and community.”

The letter by Quist continued from there, calling it “even more appalling” that no action has been taken yet by the district, even though school officials have “been informed of the situation.”

“A teacher who operates in this manner should be fired. You are knowingly exposing your students to an unsafe environment, and each of you is accountable for that.”

Speaking with Alpha News about the debacle, Quist says that teachers such as this one feel they can do as they please in the classroom, especially when their superiors or the general public don’t hold them to account.

“If nobody speaks out, people think it’s not that big of a deal…being vocal, being public. Being willing to take the swings picks peoples’ conscience, and they understand their children are at risk…the children are the ones who are upset in all this.”
