On Thursday afternoon, Kamala Harris headlined a fundraiser that was hosted by a Hollywood producer who once called her “tiresome” and said she needed to “grow a pair.” He also previously referred to Republican women as “twats.”

Doug Prochilo, who donated at least $100,000 to cohost the Biden campaign’s virtual fundraiser, often attacks Republican women, according to the Washington Free Beacon. He has called former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders an “amoral, demented twat,” current Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany “an insane twat,” and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) a “lying, ignorant twat.” Two years ago, the Hollywood producer also called Maine Senator Susan Collins and two of her Republican colleagues “uptight old twats.”

Republican women aren’t the only females that Prochilo has attacked, however. In May of 2018, he went after Kamala Harris, saying that she needs to “grow a pair” and quit her “tiresome” campaign for president.

In his most recent attack on a conservative woman, Prochilo targeted First Lady Melania Trump, slamming her as an “illegal immigrant criminal” in response to her well wishes for the Fourth of July holiday.

Harris ignored all of this when she headlined Prochilo’s fundraiser, which also featured such major Hollywood names as J.J. Abrams, Lee Daniels, and Ryan Murphy.

“We couldn’t be more excited for our friend Senator Kamala Harris to join the Democratic ticket and be our Vice Presidential Nominee,” the invitation for the event read, according to Deadline. “In less than twelve weeks, we have the chance to make history and elect Joe Biden as the next President and Senator Harris as the first woman to serve as Vice President.”

Prochilo is married to Netflix vice president Bela Bajaria, who currently runs content acquisition for the streaming site. She was listed as a cohost for the Biden fundraiser.

After Prochilo was called out for his sexist tweets, he made his Twitter account private. What a “twat.”
