Standing alongside Joe Biden throughout his time in the White House is none other than the person he decided to pick for Vice President, Kamala Harris. And much like Joe Biden, when it comes to accomplishments, Harris doesn’t have many. First, she promoted the COVID-19 agenda, then Biden moved her to take charge of the Southern border crisis, which is still ongoing. And with her popularity dwindling, it seemed that Harris had vanished from the spotlight. That was until recently, when she announced the border was “secure.” That statement alone caused intense backlash as the border has seen over 2 million migrants. Now, with the 2022 midterms approaching, it seems that the Democrat is touring America, hoping to get young voters to turn blue.

According to Axios, “Vice President Kamala Harris is ramping up campaign road trips to turn out young voters and voters of color for the midterms — stopping this week in Wisconsin and South Carolina but so far without scheduled appearances with key Democratic nominees on the ballot.” The outlet added, “On Thursday, Harris is set to appear in Milwaukee at an event for the Democratic Attorneys General Association. She has not announced any joint appearances with Gov. Tony Evers, who is up for re-election, or Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, the Democratic nominee challenging GOP Sen. Ron Johnson.”

Currently, when looking at the RealClearPolitics polling, Kamala Harris only has a 36% approval rating among voters. On the opposite side, a staggering 51.2% have an unfavorable view of the Democrat. Just within the last two weeks, Harris visited Universities in New York and Chicago. She discussed issues like climate change, clean energy and even spoke at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Alexi McCammond of Axios noted, “A White House official told Axios that the VP is also taking time to meet with local Latino elected officials and community leaders while in Milwaukee — hoping her engagements will help shore up Democrats’ otherwise waning support from this constituency.”

As mentioned above, Kamala Harris made some rather interesting comments when appearing on CNN, suggesting, “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system and in particular over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed. We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.”

Online, users voiced their disdain for Kamala Harris, writing, “Cackles is still blaming Trump. Day one of ANY administration: take full responsibility for all action or inaction from that day forward. Blaming the previous administration is a childish attempt to distract from poor decisions and the failure to act.”

Another person added, “Quality of life shouldn’t be destroyed by Biden/Harris. But it is. Inflation is up 8.3%, food is up 11%.”
