Although not a new tactic used by the Biden administration, the recent attacks on former President Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters increased drastically over the last few weeks. Giving a speech in Philadelphia, right in front of Independence Hall, President Joe Biden declared, “We must be honest with each other and with ourselves. Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” But as one left-wing activist found out, that isn’t the case.

Hoping to learn more about Donald Trump and the type of people who support him, Samuel Donner, who handles the 100New Friends TikTok account, decided to visit one of his rallies in Tennessee. He recalled his experience at the rally while speaking on Fox & Friends with Steve Doocy, “Growing up in L.A., you think that these events are going to be like, very aggressive. I was absolutely baffled that people wanted to talk and would actually be friends with me.”

In the video above, Samuel Donner presents a collage of his conversations with numerous Trump supporters. Surprisingly, he found their ideas and goals don’t stray too far from each other. “We’re just trying to find common ground between humans. And I think at the end of the day, humans have a lot more common ground than we’re led to believe. If you can start those conversations, you can actually understand where that common ground is.”

While any base of supporters will have a few bad apples, Samuel Donner admitted to some wanting nothing to do with him, but for the majority, they welcomed him with open arms. “There were a couple of people who didn’t want to talk to me, but overall, everyone was super-friendly.”

As for Joe Biden, he continued his rhetoric that MAGA supporters have no respect for law and order or even America. “MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people.” He continued, “They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak in state after state, to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election-deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

At Trump’s rally, the former President harped on Biden, pointing out how he was “vilifying 75 million citizens, plus another probably 75 to 150 [million], if we want to be accurate about it, as threats to democracy and as enemies of the state. You’re all enemies of the state. He’s an enemy of the state if you want to know the truth. The enemy of the state is him and the group that control him, which is circling around him. ‘Do this, do that, Joe.'”
