WASHINGTON, DC – Timothy Thibault, a 25-year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), was reportedly forced out of the bureau last week due to allegations that he operated under a political bias and shielded Hunter Biden from the investigation after his laptop surfaced.

Even though the “laptop from hell” was discovered a month prior to the 2020 election, it wasn’t officially declared authentic until March of 2022. It contained ample evidence of criminal behavior by Hunter Biden, including prostitution, drugs, and gun crimes, and also contained information regarding dealings with China.

Several sources spoke with the Washington Post and told the outlet that “at least two headquarters-looking types” escorted Thibault out of the building on Friday. He’d already been on leave for about a month following whistleblower claims of his political bias.

Fox News reported that a source told them Thibault retired and that it was “standard procedure” for an agent to be escorted out upon retirement.

Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, expressed concerns about the claims in a July letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland, saying that he believed Thibault and Brian Auten, an intelligence analyst supervisor for the FBI, were involved in “a scheme [to] undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”

Grassley also said in the letter that he believed Thibault ignored “a valid avenue of investigation of possible Hunter Biden criminality” for at least a month before the 2020 Presidential Election. According to Grassley, “Thibault allegedly ordered the matter closed without providing a valid reason as required by FBI guidelines…. [and] subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”

Thibault’s social media posts prior to November 2020 have been publicly called into question as well, as he allegedly had several anti-Trump postings. This included a “retweet of a Lincoln Project message that called Donald Trump a ‘psychologically broken, embittered and deeply unhappy man.'” He reportedly also tweeted that he wanted to “give Kentucky to the Russian Federation.”

Just last week, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast and confirmed what was already known but had never been admitted, that he and the FBI suppressed the New York Post’s original story regarding Hunter’s laptop. The story was labeled “Russian disinformation” in an attempt to disallow it to deter votes for Biden.

Zuckerberg said, “Basically, the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us — some folks on our team — and was like, ‘Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert.'” The FBI added, according to Zuckerberg,” ‘We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that, basically, there’s about to be some kind of dump that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.'”

The allegations, Wray admitted during a Senate hearing, are “deeply troubling.”
