Wow. In case you thought Charlie Crist was just another political hustler, you were wrong. He’s actually a batmanure crazy self-absorbed maniac who is pathetically trying to channel an 80s rock song into a political mantra. Dear bloody Gawd.

If Crist seriously believes he is running “on a battlefield of love” evoking the Pat Benatar hit “Love is a Battlefield”, then in November the real political battlefield will feature the mangled corpse of his gubernatorial campaign.

FNC: “After U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist, D-Fla., disparaged Floridians who voted for Ron DeSantis, the Republican governor responded on Fox News on Wednesday.

Crist, who won the Democratic gubernatorial nomination Tuesday, was in his hometown of St. Petersburg when he told assembled supporters and press he does not want DeSantis voters’ support.

No Democrat has won a governor’s election in Florida since 1994. Florida, long a critical swing state, has shifted to the right in recent elections, with Donald Trump carrying the state in 2016 and 2020, and the state sporting two Republican U.S. Senators.”

Crist called DeSantis “Anti-Freedom Ron” and crazily insisted the incumbent governor “doesn’t respect your freedom if you’re African-American” before declaring “those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him and I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there…I am of the people, by the people and for the people. And so that’s why I’m here with them: To learn, to listen, to love,” Crist said. Ah, of the people. And you won’t perish from this earth? Riiiight.

“The guy is anti-democracy, I’ll be pro-democracy, he’s anti-women, I’ll be pro-women. He’s anti-African American. I’m pro-African American, I’m pro-Floridian. And he’s against Florida,” Crist said. “He is on the battlefield of hate, I am on the battlefield of love. There is faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love. It’s in Corinthians, in the Bible, I’m going to beat him because I’m running on love and love always wins…He’s the most arrogant governor I’ve ever seen in my life. It is shocking, it really is. Enough is enough…He’s a barbaric, wannabe dictator.” Gee Charlie, what do you really mean?

An MSNBC pundit immediately echoed his childish gibberish. “The Democratic nominee now for governor of Florida fighting on the battlefield of love,” Willie Geist said. Dim minds think alike.

DeSantis responded and nailed the guy where it hurts. “This is his fifth decade running for office. He’s a typical career politician,” he told press. “People support me because I kept the state open and protected their jobs. Charlie Crist wanted it locked down. So that’s not hate in their heart. They’re just appreciative that they had a governor who was standing up for them.

“He says he wants a Florida for all. And then you condemn a majority of the people in the state of Florida: Give me a break,” DeSantis said. Point, game, set: DeSantis.
