NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Thursday, Donald Trump posted to Truth Social that his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, died in her home in New York City.

Police responded to a 911 call at 10 East 64 Street around 12:40pm, where they reportedly found the 73-year-old business woman dead “in close proximity” to the bottom of the stairs in her house.

Reportedly, the New York City Fire Department had responded earlier Thursday to a cardiac arrest call.

“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her,” Donald Trump posted, “of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City. She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”

Police told Fox News that there was no suspicion of foul play involved in the death.

Donald and Ivana were married in 1977 and had three children together, whom Donald Trump listed above. The two divorced in 1992, and Ivana ended up with a $14 million settlement.

Eric Trump posted to social media, “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump. Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”

Ivana was born Ivana Zelnickova in 1949 in what became the communist Gottwaldov, Czechoslovak. She was a model, in films, and big as a business woman, involved in many of Trump’s real estate endeavors, including running Trump’s Castle in Atlantic City. She called Donald Trump “The Donald,” and backed Trump’s 2016 run for President as a supporter and an advisor.

“I suggest a few things,” she said at the time. “We speak before and after the appearances and he asks me what I thought.” She said she advised him to “be more calm.”
