While the 2020 election was controversial and many Americans are still conflicted about the results, the Democrats and mainstream media have moved forward as if nothing out of the ordinary happened on election night. Although there have been numerous investigations, evidence presented, and confessions from whistleblowers, the government continues to act as if Joe Biden not only defeated former President Donald Trump, but became the most voted for President while doing so. It appears the only interest the Democrats have in elections is promoting mail-in voting. And apparently, it isn’t just the left who are showing interest in the election process, as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg poured $350 million into local election offices.

According to the video, which is featured below, The National Vote at Home Institute (NVAHI) taught election officials on how to persuade public opinion when it came to mail-in voting. During the 2020 election, the NVAHI distributed the “2020 Election Official Communications Toolkit” to officials in Wisconsin. They were able to achieve this by working with the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL). That’s where Zuckerberg comes in, as CTCL used the $350 million to fund actions within government offices.

In the toolkit given to election officials, it stated, “Do not repeat myths as a way to refute them. Instead, control the narrative by presenting information that affirms the safety, security, and reliability of mail balloting.” The document added, “Reporters will likely already be writing up voter information guides as well as shaping their articles around how well or poorly the election is running. A proactive op-ed strategy is helpful here.”

Mail-in ballots have come under criticism from Republicans given that the party believes the votes could be easily stolen, manipulated, or faked to sway elections. On the other side of the aisle, the Democrats scrutinized the GOP for “attacking democracy” and wanting to “steal votes” from the American people. But as can been seen above, it appears the main enemy to democracy could be big tech.
