Mitch McConnell Says The Quiet Part Out Loud, Has Biden ‘Just As Bright As White Kids’ Moment [VIDEO]

Impersonating Biden probably isn't the best move for any Republican.

Over a week ago, former President Donald Trump sat down with NPR’s Steve Inskeep to discuss the 2020 election and the events that have unfolded since. While Trump continues to fight the election results, Inskeep pointed out certain GOP members weren’t willing to stand with him on the claims of election fraud.

Here, Trump placed the blame on one person: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. Trump stated, “Because Mitch McConnell is a loser. And frankly, Mitch McConnell, if he were on the other side and if Schumer were put in his position, he would have been fighting this like you’ve never seen before.”  And while some might not side with Trump, his words describing McConnell might be right as the Minority Leader recently said black people vote as much as “Americans”.

Right before the Senate voted on the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which failed,  reporter Pablo Manríquez asked him to give a statement to people of color who were worried about voting rights.

Shockingly, in the video featured below, McConnell stated, without hesitation, “Well the concern is misplaced, because if you look at the statistics, African American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as Americans.” He added, “A recent survey, 94 percent of Americans thought it was easy to vote. This is not a problem. Turnout is up, biggest turnout since 1900… they’re being sold a bill of goods to support a Democratic effort to federalize elections… this has been a Democratic Party goal for decades.”

Although only 19-seconds long, the video has been viewed over 1 million times, with former Kentucky Representative Charles Booker tweeting, “Being Black doesn’t make you less of an American, no matter what this craven man thinks.”

When pressed on his comments, McConnell released a statement only suggesting, “I have consistently pointed to the record-high turnout for all voters in the 2020 election, including African-Americans.”
