The Republicans and many conservatives are anxiously awaiting for the 2022 midterm elections to take place. With the polls predicting that the GOP will gain heavy ground, conservatives see the upcoming election as a chance for the Republicans to correct the disasters created by the Biden administration. But while both experts and even the Democrats are preparing for a wave of red, members within the Republican party present a threat to conservative values.
Before Joe Biden took a step in the White House, the Republicans and Trump administration controlled much of D.C. But even with the backing of the GOP, former President Donald Trump came under intense scrutiny from key Republicans like Lindsey Graham, Richard Burr, and former politician Trey Gowdy.
In the compilation video above, Tucker Carlson narrates how even when the Republicans were in power and Trump was in the White House, progress continued to be hindered by forces from within. As the Democrats could do nothing more than hurl accusations and scandals at Trump, it was members of his own party like Liz Cheney who would ultimately turn on him, voting for impeachment.

Trey Gowdy is the biggest phony of all. The one who quit the House to never return who never left. I’ve said he was a fake for many years bitter at Trump for not getting a job he wanted. Of course, a never Trumper who campaigned for Marco Rubio. He comes off as some hard nose prosecutor but he did support the FBI and probably still does. So does Sean Hannity for that matter. Hannity even wears and FBI pin and everyone in his family is FBI. The rest, Graham and McConnel are the very defintion of the Swamp.
