It’s not just that Dan Rather is getting on in years, a lot of older people are sharp. It’s that Dan has always been a dull blade.
He lives inside a bubble where the irony of saying this regarding the popular acronym is not apparent. Rather’s past indiscretions are forgotten, as if a celebration of the Pearl Harbor attack at the US Naval Academy would be a normal occurrence. Dan can say whatever he wants because his psyche only allows certain data to leak through.
That information comes down to: America bad, leftists good. It goes without saying, which is why I’ll say it, that Rather associates certain people with a hatred of America. Joe Biden is one. Thus he must defend Biden at all costs, even from a harmless jibe. So goes a day in the life of Dan Rather, leftist shill extraordinaire.

Conservatives were having nothing of it. Commentator John Cardillo tweeted, “Dan, Remember when you and your producer fabricated memos to derail Bush 43’s presidency, but you were caught, fired, and shamed off air? Remember that truth?”
“Says the man who literally lost his job for reporting fabrications and lies about GW Bush. Hahah.. you cannot make this stuff up. Let’s Go Dan Rather!” radio talk show host Joe Pagliarulo wrote. Michael Sullivan said, “Remember when Dan Rather threw a hissy fit and stormed off camera… because his crappy “news” show was cut short due to the scheduling of a women’s tennis tournament? He’s a “journalist.” Yes, he is. As the modern variety tend to act in just such a manner.
