While the Democrats and especially the White House don’t want to admit it, the next year doesn’t look remotely good for the party as the 2022 midterms are already favoring the Republicans. Although there is still a year to go before voters cast their ballots, the GOP holds a staggering 10 point lead over the Democrats. And knowing that President Joe Biden is leading the party, that number is sure to increase. But while Democrats are retiring and jumping ship, like Andrew Yang, one Democrat has decided to take on one of the most conservative states of all – Texas.
It isn’t breaking news that Texas has seen its fair share of hardships in the last year. Thanks to the Biden administration, the Southern border is literally on the brink of collapse. And if it wasn’t for Republicans like Texas Governor Greg Abbott, the border would be in absolute shambles. But still, believing that Democrats could help somehow save Texas, Beto O’Rourke has decided to run for Governor.
Although O’Rourke is well-known among the Democrats, his latest move to go against Abbott is somewhat outrageous. Not only have the Democrats left Texas to fend for themselves, but a new poll shows that Abbott holds a 6 point lead over O-Rourke already.
And while polls can be inaccurate, the video below shows exactly what the people of Texas think about the Democratic party encroaching on their freedoms and way of life.
