Weird stuff does occasionally happen in politics. But mostly not. People vote the way they’re supposed to give their background and socioeconomic status. For the two major parties, it doesn’t get better, when they’re on a downswing, until it gets a lot worse. That’s where the Democrats are.
As Newt Gingrich points out below, the Democrats are looking at a shellacking in 2022 and 2024 because they refuse to learn from defeat. Let’s hope, at least in the electoral sense, that they don’t learn again for decades.

Gingrich: Democratic Party defeat last Tuesday was followed by an even more ominous report on the job approval of the two leading Democrats.
Recall, last week, Democrats lost Virginia in a remarkable sweep. They lost Assembly and Senate seats in New Jersey – and almost lost the governorship. A Republican was elected city attorney in Seattle (that’s right, Seattle). They lost a Texas state legislative seat in a district that is 73% Latino. Republicans swept to victory in Long Island, while New York voters rejected three different Democratic referenda to make elections less secure. Now, an even more ominous indicator has hit the Democrats nationally.
A USA Today poll showed President Joe Biden at 38% job approval. Even more dismally, Vice President Kamala Harris at 28% job approval (one must wonder who the 28% who actually think she is doing her job are, but that is another column). If the Biden-Harris team stay in the polling basement, it will have a devastating effect on the Democrats in 2022. I think you could end up with House Republicans gaining 40 to 70 seats (a reasonable sweep based on the experiences of 1994 and 2010).
At the same time, Senate Republicans may find themselves with four additional members and a real opportunity for Sen. Joe Manchin to switch parties and join the rest of West Virginia in becoming Republican. The initial evidence is that the Democrats learned nothing from their repudiation last week.
Washington Democrats and their news media and lobbyist-donor friends seem to have gathered together to reassure one another that passing legislation will cure everything. It is a tribute to how Washington-centered the Democrats have become that they believe the pain of the grassroots can be solved by passing texts in Washington that will have no significant impact for years – although many Americans may experience immediate negative impacts economically, philosophically or culturally…
Of course, as bad as President Biden is, Vice President Harris is much worse. She may be the least effective person ever to serve as vice president. Her performances with paid child actors on building enthusiasm about space travel was humiliating. Her total failure on the border is unforgivable. She will be an even bigger liability than President Biden. These two approval ratings, 38% and 28%, mark the beginning of a political disaster for Democrats, which I predict will get steadily worse for four years.

Democrats don’t have to worry. They know how to steal and judges refuse to actually do anything about it.
The American people need to—en masse—DEMAND that the Not-So-Supreme Court take up the case of the 2020 Election. The lesser political parties at state level were summarily dismissed. The Not-So-Supreme Court cannot dismiss the American public. Every American is being hurt by the current fraudulent administration. It is time to correct the wrong. Waiting until 2022 is a fool’s play. One does not have to be a political analyst to imagine the kind of damage that can be done before the next election. We need America back.
Almost the most bizarre thing Biden and now his VP say is “this spending bill (one to several trillions of $$$) won’t cost anything”. In the very words of the most dimally unprepared VP ever, “we will pay for it”! WE???? The only money “they” have comes from WE the taxpayers . . . as usual!!!??? One thinks “are they crazy???” But then I wonder if WE are just as crazy, we put them in their positions of mammoth authority and dutifully call them Mr President and what? Madam or Ms. VIce President!!! Biden has done more destruction in less time than any enemy of the state, in history!!
All it takes to defeat the democrats is election integrity. They cannot win any election without massive fraud. This disgusting banana republic has been taken over by immoral reprobates and many, many traitors need to hang if our country is ever to heal.
It’s too late and voting is not going to do shit. Civil war in only reasonable alternative at this point. We have gone so far downhill that is the only way to get back to the top.
