Last week, speaking in Washington, D.C., President Joe Biden opened up about the mask mandate and how important it is to protect children. He was also sure to attack Republican states by saying, “I am so disappointed that particularly some Republican governors have been so cavalier with the health of these kids. So cavalier with the health of their communities. We’re playing for real here. This isn’t a game.” But while Biden continues to preach the importance of protecting children, as if parents don’t know, a recent viral video shows just what it’s like for an innocent child to be forced to wear a mask.

The video below was posted to Facebook by Ann Walker, who couldn’t help but share the horrible experience her son went through at his daycare when he was forced to wear a mask. Taking place in New York, the state has been under a new mask mandate for some time. Walker captioned the video with, “This is my poor kid at daycare today so I can work. #breaksmyheart #governorhochulthiswontwork #whyarewepunishingbabies.”

Although any parent would be visibly upset at their child being forced, to the point of crying, to wear a mask, Walker said she isn’t blaming the daycare but the newly sworn-in Governor of New York and their outrageous mask mandate.

“Point of clarification I’m not upset with his daycare. They are attempting to comply with the mandate. I love where he is. I’m pissed out our governor and OCFS, who think mandating a two-year-old to wear a mask 7-10 hours a day is at all necessary. #unmaskourbabies.”

But while schools continue to debate the issues, the government and private drug companies are working around the clock to get the COVID-19 vaccine approved by the FDA for use in children 5-11. Not to mention, Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who serves on Pfizer’s board of directors, said, “In a best-case scenario, given that timeline they’ve just laid out, you could potentially have a vaccine available to children aged 5 to 11 by Halloween.”
