Word now comes that the top US military officer, US Army General and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, actually went behind the back of then President Donald Trump and conspired with the Chinese Communists against him.

This betrayal is so immense, so stupefying, that Milley should immediately be brought up on charges that befit this gross compromise of American national security. At the very least he should be drummed out of the military. A more fitting punishment is that plus criminal prosecution.

FNC: “During the final months of former President Donald Trump’s term, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley made two phone calls to Chinese officials in fear that Trump would create conflict with the communist nation, a new book has claimed.

In the book, authored by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward and national political reporter Robert Costa, it is alleged that Milley made two secret phone calls, both to his Chinese counterpart, Gen. Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army. The book alleges that the phone calls took place prior to the 2020 presidential election on Oct. 30, 2020, and two days after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, on Jan. 8, 2021.

According to the book, Milley contacted Zuocheng after he had reviewed intelligence that suggested Chinese officials believed the United States was planning an attack on China amid military exercises in the South China Sea.”

Milley said to the Chinese Communists, “Gen. Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time. It’s not going to be a surprise.” My God.

Even the former president was so shocked he had a hard time dealing with the facts. “So, first of all, if it is actually true, which is hard to believe, that he would have called China and done these things and was willing to advise them of an attack or in advance of an attack, that’s treason,” Trump told host Sean Spicer on NewsmaxTV.  “I’ve had so many calls today saying that’s treason, number one.” He said that the idea that he would launch an unprovoked attack on China was “totally ridiculous.” It is. But Milley selling out the United States to the Communist Chinese apparently is not.
