Rep. Elise Stefanik Wants Nancy Pelosi Fired, Calls Her A ‘Radical Authoritarian’

After the latest Democratic stunt, New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik is calling for the firing of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom she describes as a “radical authoritarian.”

As reported, Pelosi rejected Republican Reps. Jim Jordan and Jim Banks’ appointments to the January 6 commission on Wednesday.

McCarthy named them, along with three other Republicans, a few days ago in an effort to work with the Democrat-led committee, as he was asked to.

Ultimately, McCarthy ended up pulling all Republican nominations from the committee. As a result Liz Cheney will be the only “Republican” serving on the committee, and she will do so because Pelosi solicited her services for the issue. She was not put forth by her Republican colleagues who have grown tired of her increasingly Democratic take on major issues.

Stefanik ripped against Pelosi shortly after Jordan and Banks were rejected.’

“Nancy Pelosi is a radical authoritarian Speaker. The Pelosi partisan January 6 commission was never about investigating the facts, it was only ever about Pelosi’s radical politics and the Left’s endless obsession with crushing any discussion or debate. What is Nancy Pelosi so afraid of?” said Stefanik.

“She is afraid of the American people finding out the truth that her failed leadership and the gross mismanagement of the U.S. Capitol led to the tragic events that day. It is time to Fire Pelosi once and for all. I have no doubt that after the next November, Nancy Pelosi will never, ever hold the Speaker’s gavel again. She will make history as the most despised Speaker of the House who will be fired not once, but twice. And it can’t come soon enough,” she added.

Pelosi’s office issued a press release on her website announcing her rejection of the appointments.

“The violent domestic attack on Congress on January 6th was the worst assault on the Capitol since the War of 1812 and the worst domestic assault on American Democracy since the Civil War. We are facing a radically new threat in the kinds of forces that combined to attack our government on January 6th. The future of our democracy is on the line. This assault was an attempt to overthrow the government.

The statement continued, “Monday evening, the Minority Leader recommended 5 Members to serve on the Select Committee. I have spoken with him this morning about the objections raised about Representatives Jim Banks and Jim Jordan and the impact their appointments may have on the integrity of the investigation. I also informed him that I was prepared to appoint Representatives Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong, and Troy Nehls, and requested that he recommend two other Members.”

Pelosi continues to act though the American populous isn’t smart enough to see what is going on, and how she and fellow Democrats have overly politicized and tried to capitalize on the events of January 6th, as disappointing as they may have been.

In fact, a new poll shows that most Americans, on both sides of the aisle, want more investigations and consequences for the destructive riots and loss of life caused by Black Lives Matter and Antifa over the course of the past year as opposed to the events of January 6th.
