Former White House doctor and current Texas congressman Ronny Jackson predicted that President Biden will either be pressured to resign or he’ll be removed via the 25th Amendment.

Jackson, who was Physician to the President under Obama and Trump, made the comments – a forecast which amounts to his own opinion – in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Hannity prompted the commentary by playing a clip of Biden’s town hall meeting that aired on CNN this week, which he described as an “unmitigated disaster.”

“There’s something seriously going on with this man right now,” Jackson alleged in response.

“And you know I think that he’s either going to … he’s either going to resign, they’re going to convince him to resign from office at some point in the near future for medical issues or they’re going to have to use the 25th Amendment to get rid of this man right now.”

Biden And The 25th Amendment

President Biden’s performance at the town hall prompted Jackson’s criticism and suggestion that the 25th Amendment could come into play.

A clip from that performance showing Biden delivering a nearly incomprehensible answer regarding children and vaccines went viral earlier this week.

“I don’t know about you but I’m thrilled this is the guy in charge of the free world. We should all sleep sound at night,” tweeted Donald Trump Jr. sarcastically.

“You’ve got to imagine – if you’re a cabinet member right now, if you’re the … Secretary of Defense, or Secretary of Treasury, or his Attorney General – you have to be looking at him right now and thinking to yourself like what is going on?” Jackson speculated.

The congressman went on to suggest Biden has issues that constitute “a national security” problem.

A Cognitive Test

Last month, Jackson joined thirteen other Republican lawmakers in sending a letter urging President Biden to undergo a cognitive test.

The letter cited the president’s “mental decline and forgetfulness” and insisted “the American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their president.”

Popular podcast host Joe Rogan questioned Biden’s mental capacity recently, suggesting “everybody knows he’s out of his mind.”

Former President Trump has claimed a push by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to review the 25th Amendment last October was actually intended for Biden.

“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris,” he said at the time.

Unrelated, but important to recall, is the fact that dozens of House Democrats earlier this year called on Biden to relinquish sole control over the country’s nuclear arsenal and the ability to launch a strike using those weapons.

The move led some social media users to speculate as to the reasoning behind the move.

But I digress.

Jackson’s opinions are his own, as are those of Rogan and Trump. And there has been no concrete medical evidence presented thus far that shows Biden experiencing definitive cognitive decline.

Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s White House physician, released a three-page statement in December of 2019 describing him as a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.”
