Unable to admit their wrongdoings, the Democrats remain to blame all of America’s problems on a slew of different reasons. First, it was COVID-19, then the border surge was due to Joe Biden being a nice guy, and who could forget the always favorite – blame the Republicans. No matter the issue, Democrats will more than likely blame conservatives or the pandemic for their poor performance. Just take a look at Atlanta, Georgia as over the past several months, crime has been on the rise. And who do you think the Democratic Mayor of Atlanta is blaming it on – Republicans.

Barely halfway through the year and Atlanta is already recording a 58 percent spike in killings than in 2020. Even during the pandemic and widespread lockdowns, the city witnessed one of its deadliest years in decades. In 2020, there were 157 homicides. That is almost double what it was in 2019.

With the facts against her, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms responded to the rise in crime, blaming it not on her poor leadership but due to the GOP forcing the state to reopen during the pandemic. And if that wasn’t a good enough reason, the mayor went on to hurl several other reasons why crime is on the rise. And yet again, not one reason was her. She blamed lax gun laws, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, and even young people being out for the summer.

Tired of the constant narrative that Republicans are to blame, Governor Kemp responded to Bottoms comments, hoping to set the record straight.”According to the mayor, rising crime in our capital city is everyone’s fault but hers. Getting Georgians back to work, back to school, and back to normal didn’t lead to more crime. The left’s anti-police, soft-on-crime agenda is to blame.”

Kemp did stop there as he also went on Fox & Friends to commend law enforcement for the hard work they are doing to clean up the Democrat’s mess. “For two months we’ve had a crime suppression unit working, using extra state resources, emergency funding to try to help with the problem because I hear about it every single day. And in just two months by putting boots on the ground and officers on the street and in the air and working with state and local partnerships we’ve done almost 3,100 arrests, we’ve apprehended 71 people who had outstanding warrants and we’ve impounded almost 300 vehicles going after street crimes.”

As for Mayor Bottoms, Kemp suggested she stop blaming others for her problems and take a more conservative approach of just getting the job done. “We’re not blaming that on anybody else and we’re just doing something about it and it’s about time she [Bottoms] did as well.”
