Trump Hilariously Mocks Oscars After Ratings Plummet – ‘Don’t Be So Politically Correct And Boring’

Ratings for the Academy Awards on Sunday night plummeted to a historic low, drawing only around 10 million viewers, its lowest number in modern history. Now, former President Donald Trump is speaking out to rub salt in the wounds of the Hollywood minerals who despise him so much.

This came after the awards show turned into a radically liberal “wokefest” that featured no host, musical numbers, or comedy. Instead, it was filled with “woke” speech after “woke” speech about liberal politics from egocentric Hollywood liberals, who clearly were too full of themselves to realize that most Americans were changing the channel rather than listen to their nonsense.

Trump released a brief statement letting these Hollywood liberals know exactly where they went wrong with this show.

“What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the ‘Oscars’ —a far less important and elegant name—had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low,” Trump said, according to The Hill. “If they keep with the current ridiculous formula, it will only get worse—if that’s possible.”

“Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to THE ACADEMY AWARDS, don’t be so politically correct and boring, and do it right,” he added. “ALSO, BRING BACK A GREAT HOST. These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our Country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn’t worked very well for The Academy!”

Trump was far from the only public figure to rip into the Oscars.

“How’s all that incessant, insufferable woke, depressing lecturing via film, interviews, social media & at the actual, awful awards show going, Hollywood?” tweeted former Fox News host Megyn Kelly. “Oscars Ratings Plummet by 58 Percent in overall, down 64% in younger audience.”

British television personality Piers Morgan torched the Oscars in an op-ed for Daily Mail, describing it as a “grim, soulless three-hour ordeal that was the complete opposite of what Hollywood’s biggest night is supposed to be about. I’d have been genuinely more entertained if I’d actually just watched trains coming and going.”
