As this publication predicted the day of the attack, the leftist media would go out of its way to blame the recent Capitol attack on anything but a commitment by the killer to a radical Islamist and antisemitic ideology. In the specific, the killer’s family and the Washington Post are trying to change the subject from his motivating anti-Trump and Islamist politics to mental health. Of course, they could stipulate that a commitment to Islamist ideology is proof in itself of mental illness, but they never make that jump. Pity.
New from me: Capitol attack suspect Noah Green posted on Facebook about the “end times” and warned about the “last days of our world as we know it.”
He posted about the "lull before the storm" in one of his last posts, a link to Louis Farrakhan's site.https://t.co/my8l1F8zIm

So here watch an exercise in spin and crisis management. Let’s talk about everything but the main subject, or so says the family and the WaPo.
FNC: “The deranged driver who fatally rammed a police officer before being gunned down outside the U.S. Capitol on Friday may have suffered repeated head trauma during years of playing football, his family said Saturday. Noah Green, 25, was ‘not a terrorist by any means,’ the family told The Washington Post. Green had been studying for his master’s degree in business administration — but also suffered from ‘depression and potential mental illness,’ the family said.
“Green had seven sisters and two brothers, and was a standout defensive back on the Christopher Newport University football team before paranoia and devotion to the Nation of Islam left family and friends concerned about his mental health in recent years, the newspaper reported. Noah Green blamed former teammates for drugging him with Xanax in 2019, which one teammate said did not happen, the article stated. He moved into a Newport News apartment and continued to suffer hallucinations, heart palpitations, headaches and suicidal thoughts, his brother told the newspaper.”
Let’s recap: Not a terrorist, star student, top athlete, victim of Xanax drugging, and just a little mixed up. Anything about his devotion to an insane and violent ideology? Nah, guess they missed that. But Green’s own words come back to haunt them.
“I was on the right track and everything I had planned was coming into existence. It required long hours, lots of studying, and exercise to keep me balanced while experiencing an array of concerning symptoms along the path (I believe to be side effects of drugs I was intaking unknowingly),” Green wrote on March 17, signing the message Brother Noah X.
“However, the path has been thwarted, as Allah (God) has chosen me for other things. Throughout life I have set goals, attained them, set higher ones, and then been required to sacrifice those things,” he added. Does that sound like a star student athlete who is just minding his own business to you? Allah chose for him other things? Sacrifice? Noah X? This was a deranged Islamist terrorist who killed an innocent police officer. No amount of spin in the world will change that.
