Biden Outlined Socialist Plans For America

He won't call it that.

In 1945, at the end of the Second World War, British voters kicked wartime leader Winston Churchill out of office, they brought him back six years later, and made Labour Party Leader Clement Atlee Prime Minister. And with that Britain adopted socialism. Though some of it was reversed in the 80s under Margaret Thatcher, many facets of it, like socialized medicine, remain to this day.

Will 2020 be remembered as our 1945? It will if Joe Biden has anything to do with it. Would a modern American Thatcher be able to reform much of American socialism? With the modern political and cultural decks stacked against it, perhaps not. Either way, the campaign for American socialism started in earnest from a congressional podium on Wednesday night.

There and then Biden outlined his plans to bring socialism to America step by step, but all leading to an authoritarian socialist regime that could invade every aspect of your life.

Biden: “Now—after just 100 days—I can report to the nation: America is on the move again. Turning peril into possibility. Crisis into opportunity. Setback into strength.” Crisis into opportunity. Could he be anymore blatant? He wants to turn Covid into an opportunity to expand government to an unheard-of size in America.

“We will have provided over 220 million COVID shots in 100 days—thanks to the help of all of you,” Biden said the administration is “marshaling every federal resource” to get vaccines to the rest of the country. But funny, not a word about the man whose Warp Speed program produced the vaccine. In fact, that program produced the vaccine Biden himself took. Biden is trying to take credit for something he did not produce or start. The same people who said the Trump economy was all due to Obama now conveniently forget the last administration ever existed.

“The American Jobs Plan is going to create millions of good paying jobs—jobs Americans can raise a family on,” Biden said. “And all the investments in the American Jobs Plan will be guided by one principle—Buy American. Buy American.” This is truly hilarious. Made up government jobs paid for by tax dollars will boost the economy? Oh, they may, for a bit. And then reality will sink in as the smoke and mirrors quality of the deal becomes apparent. Then it’s back to the Jimmy Carter misery index.

He will spend massive amounts “without increasing the deficit.” Oh, perish the very thought! Hold one. Where do government deficits come from? That’s right, government spending. Ergo, he’s not senile-he’s high. Or both.

“We’re going to get rid of the loopholes that allow Americans who make more than $1 million a year pay a lower rate on their capital gains than working Americans pay on their work,” Biden said. “This will only affect three tenths of 1% of all Americans by that action. And the IRS will crack down on millionaires and billionaires who cheat on their taxes—That’s estimated to be billions of dollars.”

One problem. Those rich people? The producers? They create jobs by risking capital to do so. So when they lose money they stop risking and investing. What happens then? Jobs disappear. But to be replaced now with government jobs that gives the state complete control of your livelihood. Throw in PC edicts and you have authoritarian socialism. That’s what Biden is proposing. True, there was a lot more folderol in the speech about various things, but they all lead down the same road. Less freedom for you. More power for government.
