Mary Trump went on MSNBC on Tuesday to slam her own cousins, Donald Jr. and Ivanka Trump, claiming that their political careers are “completely over.”

“How do you think this all affects Donald Trump Jr.’s and Ivanka’s dreams of being President Trump, the Kennedys of the Right, how do you think it’s going to impact them?” asked host Dean Obeidallah.

“I think it’s over. I think it’s completely over,” Mary replied. “They have their father to thank for that. The insurrection was a bridge too far, Donny for sure is totally implicated in it, and if there’s any justice, he will be indicted at some point as well.”

“You know, we have all this information coming up that Ivanka and Jared allegedly, employees of the federal government, have made in excess of $600 million through their grift over the last couple of years,” she added. “So I think that the fact that they think that there’s any chance for them to turn the corner or rehabilitate their prospects is just insane.”

Mary was later asked about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy traveling to Florida to meet with former President Donald Trump.

“Kevin McCarthy flew down, the House minority leader, to kiss the ring of Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which was outrageous considering the proximity to the insurrection,” Obeidallah said. “Do you think they’re just really using Trump as a fundraising tool?”

“Yeah, I hear people say, all the time, that they’re afraid of him,” Mary responded. “No they’re not, you know, they’re totally in line with him. They are him. They’re all on the same page here.”

“They’re just thrilled that someone like Donald came along who was willing to push the envelope and break norms and get them whatever they wanted all along, which they were too, I don’t know,  unimaginative to go after,” she continued. “So I think people always use Donald. That’s all he’s good for. So yeah, absolutely.”
