White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany just showed the world once again that she is not a woman to be messed with when she called on the White House Correspondents’ Association to “look into” Playboy reporter Brian Karem for repeatedly yelling “demeaning, misogynistic questions” during White House press briefings.
During an interview with “Fox & Friends,” McEnany claimed that Democrat women in her position are treated with respect by the media, while Republican women are not.
“If you’re a female woman in the Republican Party who takes that podium, guess what your worry is? Having a Playboy reporter shout questions at you, demeaning, misogynistic questions during a briefing,” McEnany said.
“It’s a double standard. It’s one that’s ridiculous,” she added. “And one that the White House Correspondents’ Association should look into, when you have Playboy reporters shouting at women in a misogynistic manner simply because they’re a member of the GOP.”
The White House Correspondents’ Association has yet to respond to McEnany’s calls.
This comes one month after Karem repeatedly shouted at McEnany during a press briefing, asking her over and over whether President Donald Trump would admit that he lost the election.
“Do you understand the definition of sedition? Do you understand that he lost?” Karen shouted at McEnany as she wrapped up the briefing. He was seemingly so proud of what he did that he posted video of the moment to Twitter.
NOW: question: “Do you understand what the definition of sedition is?” Also followed it with another question about admitting that they lost. Response… pic.twitter.com/b2hQtTBlH1

Karem fired back at McEnany for her comments calling for him to be investigated by insulting her.
“Lame,” Karem tweeted. “Speaking truth to power is not misogyny. You work for a misogynist. Your briefings are propaganda. You failed the American people who pay your salary. You’re sore because you can’t answer questions honestly.”
He added that “the WHCA is not a legislative body to police reporters.”
“A professional in your position should know how the system works,” Karem wrote, tagging McEnany’s Twitter handle.
Earlier this year, President Trump called Karem a “loudmouth” for interrupting one of his Rose Garden coronavirus press briefings.
“I told them when they put this guy here, it’s nothing but trouble,” Trump said of Karen. “He’s a showboat. If you keep talking, I’ll leave and you can have it out with the rest of these people. If you keep talking, I’m going to leave and you can have it out with them.”
