White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has launched a new attack on Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp, this time comparing him to his Democratic former gubernatorial opponent Stacey Abrams.

“Gov. Kemp is no different than Stacey Abrams right now,” McEnany told Fox News host Sean Hannity late Monday night.

“She did this consent decree, and by not doing this, Governor Kemp is Stacey Abrams and that is despicable,” she added, referring to President Donald Trump allegedly wanting the governor to overturn Biden’s apparent win and mandate an audit of absentee ballot signatures.

The Hill reported that Trump spoke out to blast Kemp on Sunday, saying that he’s “done nothing. He’s done absolutely nothing. I’m ashamed that I endorsed him. But I look what’s going on. It’s so terrible.”

McEnany also doubled down on her comparison between Kemp and Abrams on Twitter.

“Right now, Governor Brian Kemp is no different than failed gubernatorial leftist Stacey Abrams,” she wrote. “It’s quite simple: Call a special legislative session to demand SIGNATURE MATCH — an electoral safeguard for 11/3/20 & for 1/5/21. Sad to see INDISCERNIBLE RINOs & Dems!”

On Monday, Georgia’s GOP Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger spoke out to blast both Abrams and Trump for sewing seeds of doubt in the public’s eyes about stolen elections. In her 2018 gubernatorial race against Kemp, Abrams had claimed that she only lost because of Republican voter suppression tactics.

“All this talk of a stolen election, whether it’s Stacey Abrams or the president of the United States, is hurting our state,” Raffensberger said, according to the New York Post. “We have now counted legally cast ballots three times, and the results remain unchanged.”

Georgia is also in the midst of two Senate runoff races that will decide who is in control of the Senate. Over the weekend, McEnany spoke out to issue a warning to America about what will happen if Democrats prevail in both races.

Referring to Kemp, McEnany told Fox News, “You have the power to call in a special legislative session because right now, if we lose these two Senate seats, guess who’s casting the deciding vote in this country for our government? It will be Kamala Harris. Call for the special legislative session.”
