If she wants to lose the House and the presidency for Joe Biden by landslides, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has found the way: Impeach the president over the Ginsberg replacement seat. Of course, she’d have to do it by January, fat chance, as she’d be out as Speaker after the Republicans gain 30 seats.

Thus she’s probably bluffing and trying to scare the president and the GOP into submission on the court seat. Strange she hasn’t learned by now, Trump doesn’t get scared into anything. But nevertheless, she opened her moongob Sunday on This Week on ABC.

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country. This president has threatened to not even accept the results of the election.” Total bosh. Complete rubbish. He has not threatened that. But, the delusional narrative must go on.

She babbled, “Our main goal would be to protect the integrity of the election as we protect the people from the coronavirus.”

Pelosi was then pressed by anchor George Stephanopoulos on whether she would use impeachment tactics. She said, “When we weigh the equities of protecting our democracy, it requires us to use every arrow in our quiver.” The quiver line twice. She’s overplaying her hand out of weakness.

“We have a responsibility,” said Pelosi. “We take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people.” Pelosi and the Democrats forgot that oath long ago. Why else would they intimately consort with America’s enemies such as Russia, China, Antifa, and Black Lives Matter? And dragging the nation, in a political party suicide move no less, through another impeachment saga? Does the nation “need” that? How “responsible” would it be? This is merely another example of the politics of wanton destruction, regardless of the cost to the country, that has become the modus operandi of the Democrat Party.

The White House called Pelosi’s suggestion, a “bizarre and dangerous” usurpation of power. “The Speaker threatened to impeach the President—again—for simply fulfilling his constitutional obligation,” said White House Deputy Press Secretary Brian Morgenstern. “Numerous Democrats are threatening to pack the court and say things like ‘nothing is off the table.’ These are bizarre and dangerous power grabs by Democrats who will stop at nothing to erode the Constitution to enact their radical agenda…President Trump will fulfill his constitutional duty to protect our God given rights and do his part to fill the seat.”

Pelosi is gambling with the wrong cards. Given the seemingly constant turmoil the nation is enduring, the constitutional crisis of another foredoomed impeachment drama would not only sink Biden and the Democrats, but the ensuing chaos could embolden foreign adversaries much as it did in the 1970s. Not a smart bet at all, Nancy. But go ahead, make our day.
