Michigan Republican Party Headquarters vandalized with hateful anti-cop messages

The Michigan Republican Party’s headquarters in Lansing was vandalized on Sunday night with hateful, profanity-laced messages against police and immigration officials.

Messages that were found spray-painted on the headquarters’ building included “abolish police,” “f*** police,” “f*** 12” and “f*** you.” Laura Cox, the chair of the Michigan Republican Party, confirmed in a statement on Monday that the vandalization had indeed taken place.

“The Michigan Republican Party is proud to stand by the men and women of law enforcement, and I am incredibly proud of my service with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency,” said Cox. “This vandalism is emblematic of the chaos sweeping through our nation’s Democrat-run cities, as the radical left uses criminal tactics to try and extort weak politicians into defunding the men and woman who keep us safe. Republicans will not be intimidated.”

“President Trump will not be intimidated,” she concluded. “And this November, the American people will show the world they will not be intimidated when they reelect President Donald Trump.”

Michigan’s GOP Party also tweeted out photos of the vandalization.

“Sunday night our building was vandalized with radical anti-police statements. We will not be intimidated, and we will continue to work hard to ensure President @realDonaldTrump is re-elected!” they captioned the images.

Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, also spoke out to condemn this vandalism.

“Another heinous attack on police and @realDonaldTrump supporters,” McDaniel tweeted. “We will not be silenced and we are going to make our voices heard in November!”

Michigan’s Republican Party has since filed a report with the City of Lansing Police Department about the incident, according to Fox News.

Michigan is seen as a crucial swing state going into the November presidential election. Trump was able to win the state in 2016, and many Republicans think he can do so again.

“Democrats should be scared about Michigan,” the state’s Republican House speaker, Lee Chatfield said on Sunday, adding that “it went red in 2016” and he thinks “it will go red again” this year.

This vandalism shows once again that there is nothing “tolerant” about the modern Democratic Party. Radical leftists will do anything they can to silence conservative voices, and to stamp out anyone whose opinions differ from their own.
